It’s official! I went on a safari! We saw antelope, buffalo, gazelles, rhinos, giraffes, ostriches, anddddd monkeys. That’s all I remember for the moment. Unfortunately no lions but apparently rhinos are hard to find so that’s cool!

Let me tell you a story. Once upon a time, Bari was taking her shower. All of a sudden – screaming. I looked towards the bathroom. I saw sparks. Red sparks. Looked like 4th of July. Today, I got to visit the 2nd largest slum in Kenya… I’ve been to slums before but only as a very out of place white passer-by. Today was different. In all my world travels, I’ve never been really sick… (other than typical sinus/allergy/cold stuff). That is, until now. Thank you, Kenya. Let me recount to you the days of Mumbai (also known as Bombay). We arrived one morning. I was EXHAUSTED from having spent a full (but pleasant) day in London and 2 sleepless nights on planes. The problem is that I get cranky and mean and sickish and can’t think straight and turn into a… Read More Mumbai
Well, India is over but there’s so much to tell… Our last few days in Delhi were… Eventful. We seriously have something ridiculous from every day. I’m really tired of being white. Even in the big cities, we’re basically celebrities here. Everyone wants a picture with us. Some will just “discreetly” but not actually discreetly,… Read More Hide and Sikh
Ohhhhh India. Where do I even begin? In no particular Order… We’ve been here 2 weeks. Been to 6 major-ish cities. Driven through the Himalayas on a road only opened 2 or 3 months of the year. Crossed over the world’s 2nd highest mountain pass at 17,580 feet. Held on for dear life as we… Read More Ohhhh India
