Let me tell you a story. Once upon a time, Bari was taking her shower. All of a sudden – screaming. I looked towards the bathroom. I saw sparks. Red sparks. Looked like 4th of July. And sounds of frying water. Electrocution! The lights flickered. Silence. Then Bari running out of the bathroom. She was ok thankfully.
Let me tell you another story. Once upon a time, the shower did the same exact thing when no one was using it.
Let me tell you ANOTHER story. Once upon a time, I took a shower with a bucket of water, dried myself off, got ready for bed. Bari handed me her charging computer from the top bunk to set on the floor to charge overnight so we could turn the lights out. I was dry but my hair was still wet. As I grabbed the computer, a shock bolted through my hand! I threw it from my grasp. And the current finished moving tinglingly up my arm.
Let me tell you ANOTHER story. Once upon a time, Bari was holding the metal lock while she went to turn out the living room lights. At the touch of the switch, the electricity shot through her hand. It threw her to her knees. Her hair stood a bit on end. The hole where the electricity entered her hand bled.
Point of these stories: Dont touch any electricity related source in Kenya when wet, damp, or touching metal because Kenya needs a new electricity system. Getting shocked is NOT cool.
